It’s been an exciting first two days for Tasmania at the 2022 Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney with medals of every colour, records and a plethora of PBs.
Athletics Australia welcomes all participants in the 2022 Chemist Warehouse Australian Track and Field Championships. It is important that all participating athletes and where relevant coaches and para- guides/support personnel take the time to read and adhere to the rules and regulations to allow smooth conduct of the Championships.
Athletics Tasmania is proud to announce the 2022 Track and Field Tasmanian State Team to compete at the Nationals in Sydney later this month. 90 Juniors and 23 open athletes – 113 athletes in total make up one of the state's largest-ever athletics teams.

The Director of Public Health has announced that face masks are compulsory in all indoor settings from today Tuesday 21 December 2021.
All people aged 12 years and older are required (unless exempt) to wear a mask in all public indoor spaces under a new Public Health Direction.
The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.
