Target Talent Program (TTP) - Camp June 2023

TTP athletes have completed their first camp for the season.
A two day program that had them stepping outside of their comfort zones and stepping into the shoes of the officals.
The weekend invloved officialing for younger atheletes at a Little Athletics event, guest speakers - who have insipred these up and coming athletes to work and grow with in the sport, and finalling some fun and games at croquet.
Day One - was about giving back to athletics as our TTP athletes learnt about officiating at the officiating workshop run by Sandra Speers. This workshop ended with the athletes both competing and officiating at the combined LA/TTP winter meet.
It was an oppurtunity for our more experienced, high performance athletes assist and inspire the younger athletes and share what they know with them.
Athletes then headed up to the function room and heard from Fliss and Xander about their success and upcoming endeavours with in their sports and allowed athletes a Q&A session.
Day Two - was a jump into the world os Croquet and learning a new skill. ANd by all accounts everyone had a great time and the competition was hot. This opened the door for learning on goal setting and tools needed to paln and achieve,
